 Photo Credit: Paul Nelson From triple overtime thrillers to close calls and everything in between, the second weekend of MAC football action concluded Saturday. The MAC East has a new leader at the top thanks to Buffalo's victory over Temple while Central Michigan and Ball State share the MAC West divisional lead after scoring important conference wins.
Out of conference highlights included Ohio winning in the Bayou while Miami dropped a triple overtime thriller to Minnesota and Bowling Green put a scare into Michigan State. Elsewhere Northern Illinois lost a heartbreaker to Southern Illinois, Akron fell to Ohio State , Kent State dropped its contest to Kentucky after the Wildcats broke open a close contest and Western Michigan fell at home to Indiana.
