Week three wrapped up Saturday in the MAC and among the highlights was Eastern Michigan snapping a seven-game losing streak by defeating Northern Illinois while Ball State scored an overtime win on the road against Navy.

The MAC took it on the chin in several contests though as Temple lost in controversial fashion to Connecticut; Buffalo and Akron put a scare into their Big Ten opponents and Ohio battled Virginia Tech late into their contest before falling.
