Headlining this year's honorees is CoSIDA Academic first-team All-American Anthony Gebhart from Western Michigan. Gebhart was a repeat selection from the 2006 all-conference list and was joined by Kory Lichtensteiger from Bowling Green, Red Keith, Dan LeFevour, Bryan Anderson and Eric Tunney from MAC Champion Central Michigan, Ken Bohnet of Eastern Michigan, Jon Brost from Northern Illinois and Jameson Hartke from Ohio. CMU's Keith and Tunney were selected for the third time in their career.

A total of 13 student-athletes who were tabbed all-MAC by league coaches last week were also named to the academic squad. Those include Chris Miller of Ball State, Lichtensteiger and Drew Nystrom of Bowling Green, Jamey Richard of Buffalo, Anderson, Keith, LeFevour, Tunney and Andrew Hartline from Central Michigan, Brost from Northern Illinois, Hartke and Michael Braunstein from Ohio and Brett Kern of Toledo.
