Toledo's Parmele Leading Rusher at Hula Bowl |

Toledo running back Jalen Parmele helped lead the East to a 38-7 victory over the West in the 2008 Hula Bowl Saturday. Parmele led all running backs with 46 yards rushing in the annual all-star showcase featuring many of the nation's top senior collegiate football players.
The game was an offensive showcase for the East squad which was paced by Marshall quarterback Bernard Morris' 172 yards passing and a touchdown in the first half while New Hampshire quarterback Ricky Santos added 169 yards passing and was 10-16 in the second half. The East tallied 519 yards of total offense.
The East's defense held the West all-stars to 240 total yards, including only 35 yards rushing, and forced six turnovers.
