The regular season came to a conclusion with Bowling Green claiming the MAC's top seed heading into the conference tournament while Ball State backed into the MAC West title and the number two seed. The Falcons and Cardinals will be joined by Miami and Buffalo as squads earning first-round byes. Meanwhile, the hottest team in the MAC is Eastern Michigan which has won four straight.
