MOUNT PLEASANT, MI - David Harman kicked a 32-yard field goal as time expired to lift the White team to a 3-0 victory over Maroon in Central Michigan's spring game on Saturday.

White drove from its own 11-yard line on the game's final possession to set up the score. Ryan Radcliff was 7-for-10 for 52 yards passing on the drive, and a Maroon pass interference penalty on fourth down from the Maroon 34-yard line extended the drive. Harman's kick provided the only points on a cold and blustery afternoon.

The two defenses combined to force 12 punts, an interception and a fumble in the game's 17 total possessions.

"We had guys playing positions on offense they don't normally play, so some guys were a little tentative that way," said CMU head coach Dan Enos. "But it's also a credit to our defensive coaches. They've got our guys playing fast, playing with confidence and playing with an edge. Coach Tumpkin and those guys are doing a great job."

Radcliff finished 25-of-41 passing for 229 yards with an interception. His top targets were Cody Wilson (eight receptions, 48 yards) and David Blackburn (seven receptions, 56 yards).

Maroon quarterbacks Derek Rifenbury and A.J. Westendorp combined to complete 11-of-22 passes for 74 yards.

The White defense was led by Dannie Bolden (six tackles) and Nathan Williams (three sacks). Bobby Seay Jr. and Alex Smith both had eight tackles for the Maroon defense.

CMU will return to the practice field on Tuesday for its 15th and final workout of the spring season.
