MOUNT PLEASANT, MI – Central Michigan head football coach Dan Enos has announced the addition of quarterback Brandon Fricke to the Chippewas’ roster. Fricke is a transfer from Grossmont (Calif.) Community College who will have two years of eligibility remaining. He is currently enrolled in summer classes at CMU.

“With the addition of Brandon Fricke, we feel we have enhanced the experience level of our quarterback corps,” Enos said. “Physically, he is very gifted, and he is very bright, too. We are excited that he has joined our football team.”

Fricke threw for 780 yards and eight touchdowns in helping lead Grossmont to an 8-3 record last season. In his two seasons at Grossmont, he threw for a total of 1,103 yards and 10 touchdowns while appearing in 12 games.
