PHILADELPHIA, PA –  Temple head coach Al Golden has announced that junior offensive lineman Steve Caputo suffered a season-ending injury during Saturday’s game at Northern Illinois.
The left tackle, who played in all six games with four starts this fall, is out with a lower leg injury.

Awarded the 2010 NovaCare Comeback Student-Athlete of the Year Award by the Temple Athletic Dept. last spring, Caputo’s freshman season (2008) was also cut short with a knee injury. He returned to action last fall, playing in all 13 games with nine starts at left guard.

Temple (4-2, 1-1 MAC) hosts Bowling Green (1-5, 0-2 MAC) on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Lincoln Financial Field in the annual Homecoming game. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
