Image The Mid-American Conference Monday released its Men’s Basketball Players of the Week.

MAC East Division Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Justin Greene, Kent State, Forward
Junior, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Lincoln)
Greene recorded his fifth double-double of the year with 21 points and 10 rebounds in a come-from-behind win over Youngstown State on Dec. 21. After Kent State trailed by as many as 12 in the first half, Greene scored 15 of his team-high 21 in the second half as the Golden Flashes held a 29-10 advantage on the scoreboard in the final 12 minutes of the game. He also added two steals and a block as Kent State won for the seventh time in the last nine games. Greene is the only MAC player this season ranked top five in points (4th), rebounds (3rd) and blocked shots (5th).

MAC West Division Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Brandon Bowdry, Eastern Michigan, Forward
Senior, St. Louis, Mo.-Taylor (Mich.) Truman H.S.

Bowdry was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Lou Henson Tournament, Dec. 20-21, hosted by Oakland University. He scored 46 points with 24 rebounds in two games. He also recorded two double-doubles with 24 points and 10 rebounds in a 74-67 loss to eventual tournament champion Valparaiso and came back with 22 points and 14 rebounds in an 82-63 win over Rochester College in the third-place game. Bowdry connected on 13-of-21 field goals (61.9 %) and 19-of-21 free throws (90.5 %) in the two games
