The Mid-American Conference Monday announced its Men’s Basketball Players of the Week.
MAC Men's Basketball East Division Player of the Week
Dee Brown, Bowling Green, Guard

Brown averaged 14.5 points per game as Bowling Green defeated Texas San Antonio 70-59 and then went on the road to beat Saint Louis, of the Atlantic 10, 67-61 for the Falcons' first road win of the year. Brown made 9-of-17 shots on the week and went to the free-throw line 16 times, making 11. He added nine rebounds, four assists and three steals in the wins. Against Saint Louis, Brown had a team-high 21 points to go with three assists and three rebounds without a turnover. He made 3-of-4 free-throws in the final 14 seconds to seal the victory. Against UTSA, Brown had eight points, six rebounds and three steals to help the Falcons pull away late.
MAC Men's Basketball West Division Player of the Week
Juwan Howard Jr., Western Michigan, Forward

Juwan Howard Jr. registered his first career double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds in WMU's 69-60 win over Eastern Illinois. Howard's 22 points came on 6-of-12 shooting from the field and a perfect 8-for-8 from the line. He scored 14 points in the first half alone. The 10 rebounds were a career high as were the four assists, eight free throws attempted and made. He is the second Bronco to record a double-double this season and this was the second time this season Howard has scored over 20 points in a game. Howard scored the Broncos last nine points of the first half on a jumper, four-straight free throws and a three-point FG all in a span of 4:39 of game time.
