Tadlock is a 6-foot-9, 210-pound center who competed at Charis Prep (N.C.) the last year and a half while completing his high school degree at James Hunt High School in Wilson, N.C. While at Charis Prep. Tadlock helped the Crimsontide to a 35-5 record and a National Prep School Tournament title in 2010-11.

He averaged 11.8 ppg and 9.2 rpg for the Crimsontide last season. During the 2009-10 season, Tadlock helped Charis Prep to a 36-6 mark and a runner-up finish at the National Prep School Tournament. He averaged 9.3 ppg, 5.1 rpg and 2.0 bpg in his first season with the Crimsontide.

Originally from Conifer, Colo., Tadlock also attended Conifer High School through December 2009. With the Lobos, Tadlock averaged 15.2 ppg and 10.6 rpg during his junior campaign. Additionally, he participated in the Rocky Mountain Fall Showcase three times and was the runner-up for MVP honors during his junior campaign. He also participated in the Chauncey Billups Joint Effort Classic.

"Jared is a player who has a lot of potential," said Coles. "He can play inside and he can play outside. He's an intelligent player and a hard worker. I can see him coming in and being able to contribute right away."

Tadlock joins Brian Sullivan--a 6-foot, 170-pound guard who signed a Letter of Intent with the RedHawks in November--in the RedHawks' incoming class for the 2011-12 season.
