DETROIT, MI -- Little Caesars Pizza Bowl officials announced today that the 15th annual Little Caesars Pizza Bowl will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in downtown Detroit's Ford Field. Kickoff time for the bowl is scheduled for 4:30pm ET.

"We are excited to bring major college bowl action to Detroit for the 15th consecutive year, and especially thrilled that Little Caesars Pizza will be our title sponsor for the third straight year," said Chairman and Executive Director Ken Hoffman. "We are also happy to announce a late afternoon kickoff that should allow more families to attend and still get home at a very reasonable hour that night."

The Bowl, which features a Mid-American Conference team against a team from the Big Ten Conference, will again be televised nationally by ESPN. The game will be in Ford Field for the tenth consecutive season, after five years at the Pontiac Silverdome.
