Image BOWLING GREEN, OH – The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team will play a nationally televised game at Georgia on Sunday, Nov. 13 and the Stroh Center will play host to six games over three days in the College Basketball Experience (CBE) Classic Nov. 21-23.


The Athletics Department also has announced that the team’s home opener, which also serves as the first men’s basketball game in the new Stroh Center, has been moved to accommodate travel for the game at Georgia.

Bowling Green will play at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga. against the University of Georgia on Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. in a game televised on ESPNU. In order to play that contest, Bowling Green has moved the home opener against Howard to Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. Originally, that game was scheduled to be played Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.

As well, the Falcons will play three games in three days in the Stroh Center as a host of the subregional round of the CBE Classic. On Monday, Nov. 21, Detroit will play George Washington in the Stroh Center at 5 p.m., followed by Bowling Green vs. Austin Peay.

The next day, George Washington will host Austin Peay at 5 p.m., followed by Bowling Green vs. Detroit. On Wednesday, Nov. 23, Austin Peay will play Detroit at 5 p.m. and the tournament will conclude with Bowling Green vs. George Washington following that contest.

In all, ESPN Networks will televise eight games of the CBE Classic.

George Washington vs. Austin Peay, 5 p.m.
Bowling Green vs. Detroit, Following Game 1

Wednesday, Nov. 23
Austin Peay vs. Detroit, 5 p.m.
Bowling Green vs. George Washington, Following Game 1
