Image MOUNT PLEASANT - Two members of the Central Michigan football program will serve suspensions to open the 2011 season

Junior defensive back Lorenzo White will sit out the season opener against South Carolina State on Sept. 1.

Senior defensive end Kashawn Fraser, who previously was suspended during spring practice, will complete his disciplinary action by serving a two-game suspension. He will sit out the season opener and the Sept. 10 game at Kentucky.

Both suspensions are in accordance with CMU Athletics Department policy. CMU will have no further comment on the disciplinary action.
