Offensive Player of the Week:  Buffalo QB Chazz Anderson
Senior quarterback Chazz Anderson (Pickerington, Ohio) accounted for 460 yards of total offense and four touchdowns as Buffalo fell just short against MAC power Northern Illinois, 31-30. Anderson completed a school record 35 passes on 53 attempts for 406 yards (the most by a Buffalo quarterback since joining the MAC) and three touchdowns, including one with just 14 seconds left in regulation that pulled Buffalo to within one before a missed PAT denied the Bulls a chance at an overtime upset. He added 56 yards rushing on 10 carries, including a touchdown in his career day. Anderson led a Bulls' rally that saw them nearly overcome a 31-10 deficit entering the fourth quarter.

Defensive Player of the Week:  Bowling Green DT Chris Jones
Junior defensive tackle Chris Jones (Brownsburg, Ind.) had six tackles, three sacks and one quarterback hurry in the Falcons’ 13-10 win over Temple. Bowling Green held the potent Owls offense to only 284 yards of total offense.

Special Teams Player of the Week:  Ohio K Matt Weller
Junior kicker Matt Weller (Twinsburg, Ohio) was a perfect 3-for-3, connecting from 24, 27 and 23 yards out in the Bobcats 37-20 win at Akron. Weller has not missed a field goal from 40 yards or less this season. He also had seven kickoffs for 463 yards (66.1 average) and had one touchback.

West Division

Offensive Player of the Week:  Eastern Michigan RB Javonti Greene
Sophomore running back Javonti Greene (West Palm, Fla.) caught a 50-yard pass from Alex Gillett in the first quarter and scored on a 50-yard run midway through the fourth quarter for the two Eastern Michigan touchdowns in the 14-10 victory over Western Michigan.  The win secured the Michigan MAC title.  Greene was held to 61 yards on 13 carries for the game, but broke loose for the 50-yard run with 7:46 to play, putting the Eagles ahead 14-10. Greene’s 50-yard touchdown reception was the first of his young career, and shattered his previous career-long catch that went for 16-yards at Toledo, Oct. 30, 2010.

Defensive Player of the Week:  Toledo DB Desmond Marrow
Senior defensive back Desmond Marrow (Youngstown, Ohio) led Toledo with six tackles and tied his career high with two interceptions in a 49-28 win over Miami on Homecoming. Marrow also broke up one pass.

Special Teams Player of the Week:  Ball State KR Jamill Smith
Sophomore kick returner Jamill Smith (Muncie, Ind.) returned the opening kickoff for a career-high 48 yards in the Cardinals 17 point second half comeback victory, a 31-27 win over Central Michigan. Smith led all returners for both teams with four kickoff returns for a total of 135 yards.  Smith also contributed to the win a 34 yard touchdown reception.
