TOLEDO, OH — Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk has announced that freshman guard Ryan Majerle has decided to leave the Toledo basketball program.
Majerle was averaging 5.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game and had played in 12 contests.
“I’m very disappointed with Ryan’s decision, especially the timing of it,” Kowalczyk said. “We thought Ryan was someone who could help us build our program, and we wish him well in all of his future endeavors.”
The Rockets will return to action when they host Cleveland State on Wednesday, Dec. 28. Tip-off time from Savage Arena is set for 8:00 p.m.
