Miami head coach Charlie Coles recorded his 300th career win
Following a 70-66 win against Weber State in the opening game of the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer, Miami University's men's basketball team advanced to face No. 4 UCLA at 11 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, Nov. 13. The game will be televised on ESPNU.

Miami is coming off a dramatic 70-66 win over Weber State Wednesday night, while UCLA defeated Prarie View A&M, 82-58.
Miamis Kenny Hayes led the RedHawks in its first win of the season with 24 points.
Hayes tied a single-game 3-point field-goal percentage record at Miami. (Craig Michaelis went 6-for-6 against Nebraska on Nov. 27, 1989.) Hayes seventh trey of the game may have been the most critical as he nailed the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1.7 seconds remaining in the game. His seven treys against the Wildcats also ties for fifth on Miamis single-game list.
With the win, Miami Head Coach Charlie Coles picked up his 300th career victory. His overall career record is now 300-239.
The Bruins return seven letterwinners, including two starters, from a squad that posted a 35-4 overall record and won the PAC-10 regular-season and tournament titles. Last season, the Bruins advanced to the NCAA Tournament Final Four.
Darren Collison led UCLA with 19 points in the win over Prairie View A&M last night.
The winner of tonights game advances to New York City on November 20-21 for the championship rounds of the tournament.
