EMU head coach Charles Ramsey
Its been a rough start this basketball season for the Eastern Michigan Eagles who have lost six of their first seven games in the early going. First they lost All-MAC point guard Carlos Medlock for the season due to injury and now they will have to play their next game without the services of head coach Charles Ramsey who was suspended by the university.
A report from Mlive.com states that Ramsey was handed a three-day suspension by Eastern Michigan athletic director Dr. Derrick Gragg, starting with tonights contest against Wayne State, for an altercation with a fan following EMUs 62-47 loss to Detroit at Calihan Hall on November 22.
In his absence associate head coach Derrick McDowell will guide the team.
